Your room

Rooms are spread across the ground, first and top floors, and most come with their own en-suite bathroom. Each room is furnished with a bed, wardrobe, storage, a desk and a chair, and has been freshly decorated as part of the building’s restoration. Tall Victorian windows bring in plenty of natural light, giving you a bright and calm space to rest and study.

Kitchens and dining on every floor

Each floor has its own fitted kitchen and dining area, so you never have far to go to cook a meal or share one with friends. The modern kitchens come with ovens, hobs and generous worktop space, alongside dining tables for eating together.

A common room to meet, relax and study

Our large hall serves as the residents’ common room: a bright, open space with study desks and comfortable sofas. It is a place to meet other residents, catch up over a cup of tea, or settle down to work on an assignment.

More than a place to stay

The accommodation is part of the MEC Foundation UK centre, which is also home to Kotku Mosque and a year-round programme of classes, talks and community events. Residents are welcome to take part as much or as little as they like.
