Prayer, learning and community, every day of the week.

From the five daily prayers to classes, weekly talks and our weekend school, there is something happening at Kotku Mosque every day. Whether you are looking for a place to pray, a class for your children or a way to deepen your own knowledge, you are warmly welcome to join us.

Most of our talks and classes are held in Turkish. [Please ask us about sessions in English.]

Prayers at Kotku Mosque

Kotku Mosque is open for all five daily prayers, as well as the Friday (Jumu’ah) prayer every week. On both Eids, Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, we hold Eid prayers at the mosque, and the community gathers to celebrate together.

Eid and blessed nights

Throughout the year we mark the important days of the Islamic calendar with special programmes. Alongside the Eid prayers, we hold gatherings on the blessed nights (kandil) of Mawlid, Raghaib, Mi’raj, Bara’ah and Qadr. Dates and times are announced in our upcoming events and on our social media.
